The Persuasive Essay

Let's face reality. All students have opinions and like to express them. Let's put those opinions to good use as we work on persuasive essays this week. You may select a topic that appeals to you. Be sure to present your position in a logical, well-developed essay. Begin with a strong opening paragraph that lays out the groundwork for your arguments. Use facts and examples to back up your position, and bring into the conversation a strong argument against the other point of view. Add a conclusion that wraps up your argument and you are finished.

Remember to meet in room 438 both Tuesday and Thursday so that we can start the persuasive essay process.
