This Tuesday there will be a pop quiz on chapter two of The Great Gatsby. Know your characters and think about the motives behind their behavior. We will read chapter three together in class, and there will be a full quiz on both chapters two and three this Friday. Be sure to know the following definitions: extended metaphor, cataloguing, and withholding information.
