This week we are continuing our study of Romanticism. Monday and Tuesday we will read Ralph Waldo Emerson's "Self-Reliance" and discuss what it means to be self-reliant in today's world. Vocabulary associated with Emerson will be due Wednesday.
Then Wednesday through Friday we will read Thoreau's "Civil Disobedience" and watch a movie about this life.
