Thanksgiving Week
If you will not be in class this Tuesday or this Wednesday, please be sure to read Act II of The Crucible. Even if you are not in class, you are responsible to read and learn the material.

Emergency Plans
- DAYS 1 and 2: Read "Eleonora" by Poe and post your reaction to the story on Nicenet.org. In addition, post any questions that you have about the story. Respond to a classmate's question.
- DAY 3: Read "The Bells" by Edgar Allan Poe and analyze the literary devices that he uses to create the poem. Put your responses in your notebook.
- DAYS 4 and 5: Read "Mending Wall" and "Birches" by Robert Frost, and then head to Nicenet.org to respond to questions. Next compare Poe's poems to Frost' poems. Which poet do you prefer and why? Type a one-page response and email it to me @ hpregional.org.
