Week of April 26, 2010

Now that everyone has decided on a topic and has several resources, it is time to focus on notes. By this Thursday at the beginning of class, you should read your three articles that you found on SIRS Knowledge Source and take notes on all three. In addition, you should read an article from your book and have notes on that article, too. These notes are worth 50 points. To earn 50 points, keep the following in mind:

1. You may use the Notecard feature in Noodle Tools. You may copy paste information directly from the article and paste it on to the card. Be sure to paraphrase the information. Also include the URL. Print the page after you finish each article and put the page in your folder. Staple the notes to the article.

2. You may use a separate piece of loose-leaf paper for each article. Put the direct information on the loose-leaf paper and paraphrase the information. Be sure to clearly label each paper with the title of the article and the author's name. Staple the notes to the article.

3. Highlighting does NOT count for notes.
