There will be a quiz next Tuesday, March 10. It will cover "The Devil and Tom Walker" and "Everyday Use" as well as "The Lottery." Know the characters, plots, conflicts, symbols, vocabulary, and literary terms associated with each. Expect several open-ended questions in addition to a few objective questions.
The next work that we will study is A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry. Be sure to take adequate notes as you watch the PowerPoint and read pages 23 through 53 by Monday, March 16.
