Tuesday - Discussion of characters, themes, and symbols found in Stargirl. Homework: Study for tomorrow's quiz.
Wednesday - Quiz on characters, symbols, and reading. (25 points) Silent, sustained reading during class. Read to page 54. Write down any metaphors or examples of foreshadowing.
Thursday - Class discussion to review reading. Notes on allusion and other literary devices.
Friday - "The Hot Seat" will be read together. Reactionary writing following the reading.(10 points) Read to page 84 for Monday. Note changes in Stargirl's character.
